During my lunch I cut up the Kiwi and apple and threw it into the yogurt with honey.

    Breaky
Soup w/ carrot, fennel, onion and 1 chicken neck --- prepared previous evening

    Mid-morning snack
    Slightly un-ripe banana

    Lunch
~1/2 pound of pork sausage prepared at office and ~8 oz. of roasted carrot, fennel, red bell pepper, and onion. 25 oz. H20.

Verdict: I have never felt so energized at the end of my day - It's also helpful that all of my colleagues are out of the office.
AND THE BEST PART! OMG GERRY YOU WILL LOVE THIS! I stank up the building with the scent of cooked pork flesh - all three floors. There is a vegan cafe on the first floor too.

  2. Keelin, what brand of bacon do you buy, and where do you get it? I'm having trouble finding bacon--the grocery store near me only seems to have bacon with tons of nitrites and other chemicals. (The turkey "bacon" they sell has an even longer list of strange ingredients.)

  3. Mika, Waverly farmers market has good bacon. Keelin and I sometimes buy Nature's Promise brand bacon from Giant. It's not ideal, but it tastes good and all things considered it's not that bad - no nitrates, hormone-free pork, and negligible amount of sugar.

You get bacon from M&J's on Saturdays at Waverly?
